I'm a freelance journalist based in Rio de Janeiro, working primarily for The Associated Press, but also other French and U.S. publications.

Since moving to Brazil in July 2018, I have covered the far-right administration of President Jair Bolsonaro, writing breaking news and investigations on environmental issues, health, public security, prisons, and human rights.

Before that I worked in Mexico for four years as the correspondent of French daily Le Figaro and energy-focused publication Argus Media. I wrote breaking news and longer features, covering all things from politics, public security, immigration, the U.S. border, or the country's sweeping reforms. I also covered a presidential election and a papal visit.

My work has appeared in Le Monde, The Guardian, The American Lawyer, Slate, Monocle, Vice. I've worked as a fixer on documentaries that have aired on French TV channels Canal+ and France2 and covered breaking news for all-news TV channel LCI.

I graduated from a dual masters degree between Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University in May 2012.
